Brampton is one of the fastest growing cities in Ontario, and with the recent success of our New Homes in Brampton, Origins, it comes as no surprise to us. Brampton is the ideal location for families, situated within the GTA, and accessed by 5 major highways, and central to Vaughan, Mississauga and Toronto.
We love Brampton in the winter because there is no end to the family activities both indoors and out in this vibrant and exciting city. With so many options for the holiday season, why not check out what the city has for you?
Santa at the BCC
Starting this weekend, Santa Claus will be at the Bramalea City Centre. Make sure to stop on in to meet the man himself and tell him what you want for Christmas this year. Then watch him laugh and jiggle his belly like a bowlful of jelly.
Sparkle, Shop & Dine
Every year, for the holidays, Brampton city council gets into the holiday spirit and assigns a theme to the year’s celebrations. This year’s theme “Sparkle, Shop & Dine in Downtown Brampton” showcases the magical attractions the city has to offer. From the sparkling lights of Main St, to the hidden gems of the downtown core, there’s something for everyone to discover and enjoy. Find that perfect holiday outfit, a gift basket for your neighbours, and everything else under the tree! Not in the Christmas spirit just yet? A short walk along the illuminated streets should change that. Click for details.
Dash through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh this holiday! Huddle under a blanket with the family and enjoy a tour of the town, or snuggle up with that special someone as you ride through a winter wonderland. Arrange for your ride soon as they will only be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday from now until December 24. If you can’t make it out before Christmas, no need to worry, carriage rides will also be running December 26-30 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m right from City Hall! The kids can even meet princesses Anna, Elsa, Cinderella and Belle on Sundays. Carriage rides are put on by the Brampton Bia and you can find the details here.
